AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE: OTTOSON Memorial Gathering And Funeral Service Details Announced

A public memorial gathering for AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE guitarist Bryan Ottoson, who was found dead in his bunk on the band's tour bus on Tuesday (April 19),will be held on Tuesday, April 26 between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Thomson Dougherty Funeral Home (2535 Park Avenue; Tel. #: 612-871-4407) in Minneapolis. Funeral services are Wednesday, April 27 at 4:00 p.m. at the Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church (511 Groveland Avenue; Tel. #: 612-871-5303) in Minneapolis.

As previously reported, Ottoson died from overdosing on prescription drugs, according to MTV.com. Police said that a bottle containing "numerous amounts of prescription medicine" was found in the 27-year-old Ottoson's bunk after his body was discovered before a show in North Charleston, South Carolina. Ottoson's bandmates told police that they had last seen the guitarist alive at 4:00 a.m. as the band was departing Jessup, Maryland for South Carolina, and that he had consumed large amounts of alcohol at a Jessup bar the prior evening.
